Katie

I am a teacher in the Malta, NY area. I have grown up camping and boating on Lake George. I love the Islands in the "Narrows" (About halfway up the lake from the village) . It's my favorite part of the lake. Most of our tour groups find they enjoy the Islands as well. It's where we take families cliff jumping and it's also where the candy and ice cream store is located on the lake.

I have spent several years traveling the world teaching young children how to speak English. I have spent time in both South America and Europe. I can safely say Lake George is one of the prettiest lakes in the world. Come visit us. I would love to take you on a tour.

Dave

Dave is a retired businessman, owning several businesses over the years in the Saratoga area.

Dave has owned a boat on both Saratoga Lake and Lake George. He is an experienced Captain. He loves the lake and can't wait to share his many experiences and wonderful stories with you. Guaranteed to have an exciting day with Dave.

Mike

Mike is a retired businessman, who also happens to play in a local band! Mike's parents, grandparents, and cousin all owned boats so Mike has been a water bug his entire life. He has owned his own boat since 1995 and loves sharing his knowledge of the Lake.

So get ready for some great stories and possibly some entertainment on your tour with Capt'n Mike.

You're guaranteed to have a great time.

Megan

I grew up on a small lake in Maine, and truly enjoyed everything about Lake Life. Over the last ten plus years I have traveled a bit. I've spent a lot of that time between Hawaii and the Caribbean. I have my 200-ton Captains license and have piloted 120-ft scuba diving boats on the ocean. Clearly having a love of the water, I worked on a career that would always keep me on it, and in the most beautiful places! Lake George is a special kind of Lake Life. I have some great stories to share with you. I hope you'll enjoy your tour as much as I will.

Trinket

Trinket was born and raised in Central Florida. She has been around water and boats her entire life. She was introduced to Lake George about 35 years ago and over those years has developed a great love for the beauty of everything on the lake, from the islands to the beautiful mansions and boathouses. She has a great knowledge of the history of many of the residents, past and present, with stories to go along. She now spends her summers here on beautiful Lake George where she loves to introduce people to the many wonders of the lake. Trinket has also written a book about Lake George titled “Boathouses of Lake George” The book has many amazing photos of the hundreds of gorgeous boathouses on the lake. Trinket spends her winters in her home state of Florida.

Brian

Brian, a retired salesman, was born and raised in Albany, NY. His grandfather owned a marina on Oneida Lake, and his father was a Navy officer, so boating is in Brian’s genes. He learned at an early age that he loved the water while spending summer vacations on Lake George. After college, while living in Tampa, Brian spent most of his free time fishing, boating, and scuba diving in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. When Brian and his wife, Laura, returned to the Northeast in the early '90s to raise a family, their summers revolved around boating and sailing the waters of the Adirondacks and Cape Cod Bay. Eventually, they were able to purchase a camp on the northern end of Lake George. With years of experience boating in the Northeast and Southwest Florida and with the dream of someday “working” on the water, Brian earned his USCG Merchant Mariner Credential in 2011. Boating on Lake George is always an awe-inspiring experience that never gets old. And having the opportunity as a captain to share this experience on the spectacular “Queen of American Lakes” with others is a great joy and honor.
“Welcome aboard!”

Steve

Steve has made Lake George his fulltime home for over the past 20 years. He grew up boating, camping and playing on the Lake and its Islands with his family and friends since he was five years old and has acquired a great deal of knowledge of the lake’s history and popular attractions. Over the years, while operating his own vessel on the lake he has developed a passion for touring & sharing his experiences with visitors and friends that have come to enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Steve looks forward to sharing his neighborhood with you while learning about yours. After all it’s not about the destination, it’s all about the journey!
